Baseball - Minor Leagues/Spring Training

A visit to Tucson should always include taking in a game at the Kina Stadium - home of the Tucson Padres!
The ballpark seats over 11,000 guests, with 8,000 seating, plus 3,000 family-style, lawn seats. It was designed for for major league baseball play.

An interesting fact you might not have heard was that Major League pitcher, Randy Johnson, threw a fatal pitch that killed a bird. The pitch was rules a "no pitch".
Kino Stadium has hosted such teams as the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, Tucson Sidewinders, and Tucson Padres!

Batter up!
I was honored to have been chosed to open two games with the singing of the "Star Spangled Banner "!
