4th Avenue Street Fair
4th Avenue is a must-see for any vacationer, any time of the year, with its artsy flavor, unique food, quirky shopping, and signature environment. But, twice a year, 4th Avenue transforms with their 4th Avenue Street Fair!

The 4th Avenue Street Fair is something every visitor to Tucson should experience. The sights, the sounds, the smells, the food, the crafts...it's all here - stretching both vertically and horizontally down the unique unique avenue we call 4th.

The street fairs are held twice a year - in the somewhat cooler temps of spring and fall. They begin at 10 and end at 6. Free to the public, wear good walking shoes, sunscreen, and bring a hat.

Over 400 arts and crafts vendors set up with booths and tables, food vendors tantalize us with over 35 choices, stages entertain us and the street characters capture our attention. There's plenty for the kids as well with face painting, music, rides, balloons, ice-ies, activities, hands on art and more.

The Fairs began back in 1970, developing now into a twice-yearly event drawing as many as 350,000 visitors.
